Last Friday, Centennial had its annual Fall Assembly to celebrate the Battle of Rimpau (the annual football game against Santiago HS). This year's theme was “Survivor”. All of the dance clubs from the school came out along with our sports teams to celebrate. Cheer and Song started us off with amazing performances to get the audience pumped. Each of the sports teams honored their varsity players and later sent out one of them to be represented in a fun obstacle course.
Later on, another game of “Fear Factor” was played with the teachers eating “worms and dirt”. In fifth period, Coach Logan won with loud cheers from the football team and in sixth period Mrs. Barths won on behalf of the junior class. Music was provided by DJ Nick Nack and the Husky Marching Alliance.
All of the cultural clubs from around campus were showcased with performances from Polynesian Club, Filipino Club, and Belly Dance. Afterwards our ColorGuard performed a routine to “The Hanging Tree” from the Hunger Games. Finally, our drumline finished off the assembly with a bang.
