The Miracle Worker
The past two weeks has been the amazing run of The Miracle Worker, performed by Centennial’s theatre department. The show was performed for four nights on November 8, 9, 15, and 16 in the blackbox theater.
The Miracle Worker is the story of Helen Keller, a deaf and blind girl, and her teacher, Annie Sullivan. For almost her entire life, Helen has been unable to communicate with the rest of the world, leaving her frustrated and prone to violent tantrums. With untiring determination and perseverance, Annie is able to teach Helen to communicate by spelling into her hand with a special finger alphabet.
Don’t miss Macbeth, the theatre department’s next performance, on December 6-8.
