Welcome to the Cen10Now website! Centennial High School's student-run newspaper. Our articles will encompass many topics such as news, reviews, events, advice and photography. These articles, written by our fantastic staff, will be published here each week.
Club members will be taught how to write an article, how to properly cite information, work ethics, deadlines, and professional photography.
Club meetings are during lunch on Tuesdays in Room 904 (first lunch) and Room 830 (second lunch). We are always looking for more Writers, Photographers, Reporters, Interviewers or anyone else who would like to contribute. Articles can count as one hour of community service. chloe santos - President, Chief of Staff
Chloe Santos is a 12th grade AP student, President of Cen10Now, and Vice President of Junior State of America, as well as a videographer for all of Southern California JSA. She is in Centennial’s Madrigals Choir and enjoys playing guitar and piano. She seeks to become a successful filmmaker and pursue making music and acting on the side. Her dream colleges are UCLA, USC, Stanford, and UCI. Katherine Varela - Vice President, Editor
Katherine is a senior who is enrolled in AP classes. In addition to Cen10Now, she takes part in choir, Relay for Life, and community service outside of school. She goes by Kat and finds humor and sarcasm in every situation. “Life is a soup. I am a fork.” -Neil Josten
Neha Farhan - Secretary, Editor in Chief
Neha Farhan is a senior at Centennial High School. She enjoys writing poetry, spoken word, and painting. She hopes to be a pediatric surgeon when she grows up and her dream vacation is Greece. Her favorite food is shrimp tacos and her favorite television show is Vampire Diaries.
William Chen - TReasurer, Editor
William Chen is a 12th grader who has no idea what he partakes in, but it’s largely sedentary. He is the president of Science Club and the Technology Student Association. Writers and Photographers
Jennifer Shin is a 12th grader, and she enjoys spending her free time playing acoustic guitar and electric bass. She is a section leader for Centennial’s Treble Choir. Wanting to major in film and media studies for college, Jennifer hopes to attent UCSD, UCSB, or UCI. Fun Fact: she also enjoys playing video games such as Minecraft and Super Smash Bros. Alexandria Gooray is a 12th grade AP student. She is captain of the swim team and is in Madrigals Choir. She enjoys playing piano and volunteering for community service projects. She dreams of becoming a US Ambassador to learn and make a difference from traveling around the world. Fun fact: she has never eaten a taco. “Big tree fall down, goat bite he leaf.” -Unknown Proverb
